Conclusion

In many ways, feline asthma is very similar to human asthma, although our understanding of the causes of clinical feline asthma has been growing in recent years. Feline asthma is a common disease in cats 1 to 5 years of age, with symptoms that include coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath, national geographic. Fortunately, feline asthma is very much treatable with oral medications and inhalation therapy.
